Classical Crake coin from 2007. In typical Crake style, this coin is large (2" = 50,8 mm), heavy (52 grams = 1.8 oz.) and really great looking. One side has a selection of symbols which are used in geocaching, with the Groundspeak logo in the center. The casting is so detailed that you can actually read the numbers on the scale on the compas symbol.
The other side has the text "In celebration of geocaching" and has a list of the 50 countries with the most geocaches. The countries are in alphabetical order, which as a curious side effect means that "DENMARK" appears with rather large letters in the 2nd line, whereas "UNITED STATES" appears in tiny letters at the center :) !
Abundantly, the coin also has edge writing, with the text: "Symbology (n): The art of expression through symbols. Christopher Rake (Crake) 2007". A dictionary definition.
The coin is available in antique bronze and antique silver (and previously also an antique copper Limited Edition was available). This is the antique bronze version.
